Good for you! Road racers are the same type of gear-heads as drag racers and everyone else.
Not sure how road-races get the wine and cheese label? I suppose it's from a small portion of the fan base.
In Wisconsin the Road races are more of a beer and cheese thing.

I've seen pictures from some of the Road America races in the late 60's and 70's and it looks more like Woodstock than anything else.LOL 8)
