Paradise Dragstrip in Calhoun, Ga. constructed by Ottto Timms in 1961, celebrated 50th anniversary all of last year but Mr. Timms pased away in March last year. Track now belongs to Mrs. Timms and run by sons, daughter and other family members. All the big names from the 60's and 70's used to run there and they draw a big crowd every week.They have three Show n Gos per year with nostalgia gassers and other nostalgia cars.
The family vows that the track will allways remain open and never house condos, apartments etc.
