I thought PRO STREET was supposed to be any car that appears to be a PRO STOCK appearing car but actually one that is capable of and often times DOES drive on the street with all of the street car features. I dont think stupid power is required to have the cool badge applied and I think that certain organizations who claim to be street car racing and use the PRO STREET designation should reconsider a name like junior funny car door class or something because I dont consider those vehicles remotely streetable

LOL, I just disagreed with you by saying I would like to build my Firebird like your Camaro but don't think I can make enough horsepower to back it up.
      Escaped on a technicality.

I think if it's going to have big tires, etc, it better well not have a TPI 305 in it!
Life is short. Be a do'er and not a shoulda done'er.

I'm not sure what would be considered stupid power these days, but I would throw the lame card if it has a dual plane small block, RV cam and cast iron exhuast manifolds. I think there is an aspect of proportion and scale with great looking Pro Street cars going back to Scott Sullivan's Nova or Lisk's Challenger or the CARS Camaros.

I also think they are drivers not trailer queens and lawn chair nationals winners and IMHO they need to be able to actually make a WOT pass at the drags without spitting parts out everywhere. Doc's Camaro and Phil's Purple 1 come to mind, or Carl Scott's Nova too. I suppose that makes Larry Larson's Nova the top of the Pro Strret food chain at the moment.
