It appears our grim speculation from late February 2012 is coming true. Word coming out of Arizona and from a well placed source are agreeing that Firebird International Raceway will cease to operate in April of 2013. Their lease runs out in spring of 2013, what it's looking like is Allen couldn't come to an agreement with the Indians, so they will move the track about 15 miles south of were it is now, a little north of Casa Grande and reopen in 2015.......

Hey Brian, find out what's going on with Bondurant they share the same facility as Firebird does, are they moving or closing down to?? That right there should give you some info on what they plan on doing with the track......
