    50k trucks, 1200.00 injectors and 600.00 entry level fuel pumps for the older junk says not likely, even if that is all you need to get start making some serious grunt. 900 plus pound entry weight for a V8, maybe if we start seeing more mid-engine hotrods. Otherwise, some of us like to turn corners on concrete. It's sad to see so many lifted behemoth trucks that cringe and whimper at the curb though, never being allowed to have their 37" tires get dirty. I suspect, that like the MR2 and DSM Eclipse, the diesel's days are limited appeal and will wane.
