El Mirage can indeed be a cruel mistress. If you look at the very last car in the picture section you'll see the SCTA / El Mirage 2013 points champion Brian Gillespie's silver Honda Insight making a pass. Not only did he win the championship he qualified for entry into the "Dirty 2" club at this meet too. A great weekend for him, but to show you it can be tough Brian crashed his Honda early Sunday morning balling up his racer and getting him a ride to the hospital. Brian is okay and mending well, but as you can see, El Mirage is a serious place.....
