cheap cars are fun! Most are not real fast but the fun meter stays pegged.
In a points race (Maxton) if you pick the right car& class the under dog can place well.
To me a drag/road/landspeed+ you have to drive to tracks would be cool.Put a claimer rule in and make the cost more realistic (1500-2500).Allow only one set of tires,replace only for puncures.

If the Porcubimmer lives through the Thunderhill Lemons race this month, we plan on entering the Grand Challenge next year. It'll be nice to run the car more than twice a year... we autocrossed it today, it was the slowest car out there - but still a ton of fun.
