Spending hard-earned money on a POS Chevette is confirming that some people just don't understand the basic idea of wisely spent time and resources. It was a pile then, and a pile now. And the Hooker Vega.

They make great chepo roller skates for sbc motors. Bunch of bracket bomber guys run them up this way.

Much better than the pinto and vega wagon 4x4s that I used to see in my neighborhood a few years ago.

(I gotta agree with mopar....I did a V6 chevette, it was indeed a complete waste of time)

I went looking for a photo of a Pro Street Chevette I recall from HRM in the '80s (light blue with a BBC and stacks...anyone?) and found this instead. It trumps all!

No, go find one of the original Hardy Colts and put a Hemi in that, in the end you'd have something worth the effort. Common sense, that's all it takes.
