I think Barry's onto something. A few months ago ASC/Saleen shut down some facilities in Michigan and California and liquidated a bunch of tools, parts and cars. Wouldn't surprise me if these were part of that.

According to Galpin Ford (who contacted me personally to buy one), these cars were headed to Saleen for conversion. Saleen has stopped accepting the 2008 models to convert and Galpin was able to pick these up. They are actual GT 4.6, 5 speed mustangs. Pretty smokin deal if you are in the market.

There are about 8 of them there all white @ 18,995, I work @ VNY airport and drove by after work and check'd em out.
