Hey Chad - Thanks for the great pictures, sounds like you had a fun Day, great way to spend a Sunday with the family for sure! 65 degree temperatures, I should be so lucky, we probably won't see those till next April at the earliest!

This car does run 11:70's-all motor and thru the quiet mufflers. It was featured in Hot Rod a few years back. Kevin and I were roommates in college-he's got a sweet Challenger too.

Re: 116 Photos: The John Force Holiday Car Show

I hung out with Chad, Daphne and the kids for a while. Here are some more pics that I took. I left out repeating what Chad posted.

70 Chevelle that had a twin turboed Duramax diesel. The tranny tunnel had to be enlarged to near H1 Hummer status in order to get the Allison tranny in there.

66 Olds 442 with blown BBC. I love these stock, call me crazy.

67 Bel Air with a blown 383 sbc.

This ex CHP Camaro still was broadcasting on it's cop radio. CHP is the sponsor of this show and there were about 40 officers there. Good day to go speed. hehe.

I never liked LSx engine's coil on valve cover. This guy fixed that. Though the big box on the fire wall was a bit much.

Mousie was there with Winged Express. I couldn't convince him to start it.

I liked the plates on these.

Super smooth 69 Impala with a BBC.

Bar none the coolest wheels ever made. Why Hurst doesn't start making these again; I'll never know. He paid $6000 for this set ten years ago.

The GTO with the Hurst wheels. Both the 64 and the 65 convert had tri power and four speeds.

This Shelby was in survivor status and owned by the son-in-law of the lady who originally bought it. No it's not for sale.

Leno's 67 Olds Toronado with turboed LS power and rear wheel drive. I like the larger diameter, but stock looking rims.

This Olds power was in a 52 coupe.

65 Olds 442, 4 speed for sale. I wanted, bad.

The coolest hubcaps ever. These were on a 65 Chevelle convert.

        60 Impala.

One other cool thing about the day, was that Cole (our 7 year old) was snapping pics like a mad man. He not only got his pic with Leno posted in the gallery, but 7 of the pictures he took were posted as well. He's on cloud nine.

That cute little Chevy 2 convertable ( image #12) belongs to Ventrua resident Frankie Signs. If anyone ever needs a PERFECT Chevy restoration, he is the guy.

I wish we could get a turnout like that around here! :-[ I would be there no matter how cold it is.
