squirrel, you are the master. Where did you get this pic, and what kind of car is this? Those are definately not my poly 318 covers, but I do see the mopar lineage here
Ive hd people try to sell me the fake oldsmobile covers for my sbc in the 56 ,but I just decline and walk awy. If i want it to look like a rocket (324 ci) Ill just take it off the stand and stick it back in !
See, this is why I hang out here. People who think like me. I hate this crap. Especially with the rat rod crowd. They'll bitch about shiney paint and slag any car newer than '64 but they can run "fauxsmobile" valve covers and disc brakes hidden inside fake buick drums and still think they're legit.
My disc's (no fenders)are there and everyone can see'em.
Why tride to hide them?
OM friggin' G!!!!! I'll be taking and posting pics of my poly soon. if those are poly's, they're way different than mine. Or at least as I remember them. been a while since I even lifted the hood on the ol' girl. Sad I know.

I'd cross the CB antenna off the list. Many nice cars have them out at El Mirrage and on the salt as they are required for push vehicles and course workers.
Truly, bad taste and bald-faced deceit know no bounds.
We need a "F-JYard Official Violation" pad with peel-off paper tickets, something pocket-size we can buy online from the Store and take to car shows, etc. With a pre-selectable list of "worst violations" (mudflaps, fake valve covers, aftermarket spoilers, CB antennas, stuffed animals, fake patina, etc) and an address where the offenders can send their fines and seek absolution from a specially-selected JYard star chamber . Might be a money maker.
If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.
I just found out I can clamp a baseball card to the fender so it hits the valve stem as the tire rolls. Sounds almost as good as it does in the spokes of a bicycle! ;)
