Even in race trim I think the Pacer is ugly. I wonder what the aero was like at speed?

David, is this pay back for the posting the link to the Life pictures? I know the rest of the day will be wasted now -- Thanks! Yes, really thanks it is a very interesting set of links.

Lotta memories there. I was a mechanic in IMSA in '86 (#74 Olds- Gentilozzi/Felton/Winters) and '87 (#76 Camaro - Baldwin). Went back to TransAm in '90. vic

I found this site awhile back when using Google Images, there is a four door Ford Granada on there in what looks like a Trans-Am type race. Check out the Le-cars being Le-raced too.

Krust-master. You worked for Jack Baldwin? Awesome! I've got some good tape of him and a much younger Scott Pruett going all demo derby on each other back int he late 1980's. Can't remember what race, but it was a street course.

How was working for Paul G?

Brian - Probably the '87 Columbus (Ohio) race, although they were rubbin' on each other most of the season. I worked WITH Jack, not for him, as he was an employee of Peerless Racing just like me. Also worked on his car in the '93 Trans Am series. Paul G.'s driving talent was just being revealed....., although his ego was apparent even then. vic
