    You could really make a positive difference if you went there Dave. I hope you're seriously considered.

          I am surprised not to see Tony DeFeo on the list....

                  KMMA! (Kiss My Monkey Ass)

                  DF at C&D, I can see and read it now, how to redo that Mopar engine in your Jensen Interceptor.

                  David, I'm sure you were laughing pretty good. It's not your skills in doubt but the subject matter. New vs Old cars, sounds like
                  Tennessee Tech or Jumbo shrimp, it just wouldn't be right.

                  Some names to make you think;

                  John Dianna
                  Leonard Emanuelson
                  Lee Kelley
                  Mike Anson
                  Harry Hibler

                        Hmm, once they look at the sales increases that accompanied your editorship at car craft, they would be stupid not to consider you as the head there. It's not that big a leap, not like you're going to head Heavy Mobile Equipment Monthly.

                              Quite an understatement... I suspect the guys at C&D would be very afraid of what Dave might try to make a test of boring FWD subcompacts actually fun. (My guess is it would involve seeing how much hang time they can get on a dirt road...)
