1904 Olds Runabout. That one has to cut close to home.

Interesting that they're also selling all the HHR project cars, including the one we did at YearOne for them. Mmmm...we were told that car couldn't be drive on the street, under any circumstances. We got a hold of it for Power Tour and when we go there, GM told us to put it back on the trailer. (just as well, because carbon monoxide probably would have killed the drivers!)

Lots of the stuff is "so what" material. Sad to see a company sell its heritage though. Some of that stuff should be in a museum to be displayed, like the Chrysler Museum. Oh damn...wonder what will happen to THAT?

Good point, though much of the stuff there is privately owned so it will probably be saved.

I wonder if any of them could be registered/driven... I realize the Boom box one probably could - but a vast number of those cars push the meaning of "experimental"

That 572 Camaro would be neat to have, as would the 6-speed Impala SS. I remember seeing a bunch of those cars in the mags back when Jon Moss was running the show.

Anything Jon Moss put his hands into was wild..the Coolside pickup, the 572 Camaro, and IIRC there were at least 10 other extremely wild ones. Was looking for the Push-Me-Pull-Me Citation too..

Some of the really good stuff, like the Turbine car and the Airflow, are owned by Chrysler/the museum. What I'm more worried about is whether the museum will still exist. Is it a part of Chrysler, or is it privately funded and its own entity. It'd be a shame for that collection to be broken up.

Oh Man.....I could spend some real money there.

So many great cars....Some of which inspired me to get into hotrodding.
