Re: Mopar Freakshow: '62 Dart Stretch Limo
I've owned a '64 Newport which was stretched only 2 feet somewhere in the middle.
Doesn't compare with these airport-versions ofcourse.
But how about this one... I wouldn't mind one... :D

I've never seen the limo version of these cars before. I think they accomodate the limo look pretty well. The Dart wagon limo is quite a unique piece, maybe the ultimate family truckster? :D

I hope the conversion company did a better job on rustproofing the chassis than they did on the doors. I doubt it.
I don't think that in the history of cars anyone ever saw one of those airport limos for the first time without mouthing "What the f.....?". Even little kids.
Cool cars, that one would be neater than the more-common-in-the-day Checker....

Pop-Rivet some sheetmetal floor patches, zing the rust off.....rattlecan in the same eye-searing yellow that DF Did the ragtop Buick in....
Straightpipe exhaust.
Yes, straightpipe exhaust.........couple of really long galvanized fence toprails would do just fine.
Imagine the sound....
