Re: Let's Play Name That Funny Car!
It does seem long, I also thought jet before I read the text. Looking at pics of old Eastern Raider jet FC's they have a cutout in the windshield, although they seem bigger than this pic. The car seems like an Omni, although I though they were about gone by the time of the long nose FC's came around. I think Bernstein was the first with the long front overhang.
This thing may go unidentified forever based on this bad photograph. And who knows how many owners it went through, and how many paint jobs. And your roving reporters need better than a 1 megapixel camera.

I wasted an hour on www.80sfunnycars.com, there was a dozen or more that could have been this one.

How about calling the guy for more info? Saratoga Springs is area code 518, and from what I see on the truck it looks like his phone number is 589-7732 or 584-7732. The 584 number does come back to a Saratoga Springs address.

Re: Let's Play Name That Funny Car!
The car on the pole is still there at LVD I believe and that's a Duster body.
Scott...I thought jet a first too, but there's not big ass inlet hole in the middle of the body, only the place where the blower would come through by the cowl.
It looks really long.
Maybe an old pulling funny car?
Spread the link on a few drag racing boards and see if anyone can guess?
BrianThat which you manifest is before you.

9:13pm est., no word yet, told the mom-in-law its ok to call back late. If he doesn't call me back tonight I'll bug him in the morning. Worst case, I'll road trip to his door [ about 2hrs. away] if I have to.Jeremy George in Windsor NY
