Now now, Ford has stayed pretty competitive with their old Windsor based engine, while the Chev, Fiat (oops, I meant Mopar) and Toyota teams have been running their non OEM based engines that are maxed out to NASCAR rules.
And notice that the Chev NASCAR engines have a front-mount distributor, just like Ford has used forever.
Having said that, SpiderGearsMan's post was pretty funny. ;D

GM has had front mounted distributors for about as long as ford has , just not in the chevComment
