I'll watch either way. The guys who do the commentary for Speed are quite sarcastic and amusing.
Haven't really wathched the BBC/ITV feed much since Murray Walker retired.

Kudos if they can make it happen, IMO it would be a very tough go. All of the technical knowledge and infrastructure for this stuff is mostly based in the U.K.

I follow F1 because they run in all weather conditions....that impresses me and it weeds out the pretenders they have to show a driving skill set in all conditions.......

I don't know the engine rules in F1, but the US
has no comparable package, save for Ilmor, which
itself is not American.

V10? The viper unit is way too large, and coudn't cope anyhow.....
The Triton isn't gonna work either.

I love F1, always have. It would be nice to see an American team do well and at least be competitive. Simply throwing money at it won't work though, look at TOYOTA, spent billions and were also-rans. If they can find some real engineering talent they might have a chance.
