When I was a youngun......I convinced my Dad to let me join the "Cale Yarborough Shasta Fan Club"(thanks Dad) the reason I remember it so well it was the first time sent off for a mail in offer at the age of 6 or 7.....anyone else remember this fan club?That steely eyed look I had behind the wheel was me trying see..........

Cale was the first Cup owner I worked for when I moved down here ('94). Stayed out of the shop and let the crew chief run things. Wouldn't use his time to go north of the Mason-Dixon line for a race, but did go to Indy for the inaugural race. He was a hell of a driver. vicvic NASCARland

Cale Yarborough and Lee Roy Yarbrough. I used to get them mixed up. The first a very inspiring story and the second -- yet to be told here but a good write up a while back in one of the mainstream car mags (Car and Driver???) -- exceptionally sad.Michael from Hampton Roads
