I was working for a small shop with a hardcore engineer. He's been at this game for over 40 years. He had a project that he was working on that required laser powdered metal sintering. Last I checked in with him he's still waiting for the company to be able to use the alloy he wanted. It's very cool stuff.
Maybe one day we will really be able to spit out a 1969 Chevelle like Brian mentioned ;D
