Most of those arguments was about how to do an interview. Earnhardt really didn't like DW's comic approach. Number 12....me vs. my pathetic attempt at wrenching a front motor dragster in 1985. We broke everything but the trailer. Thank God my first son was born and I had an excuse to quit.Comment

Good idea Doug. It's on the list.
I wrote a deal on this subject back in 2004. When I met Jim Oddy for the first time he said, "You're the guy that wrote the story that's on my office wall." After regaining consciousness, we yapped about the gasser stuff for an hour or two.
It's VERY fun stuff.
