All short sidewall sizes. Looks more like an Autocross tire, nice though.

I'm not sure about that one, but will see what I can find out. They are either made here, or in Japan.

Re: Toyo Introduces New Drag Radials

I wonder if they are related to the Nitto drag radials (since Toyo owns Nitto), or if they are a completely new tire?

          cheers

Our super secret agent at Toyo just got back to me and says these are in fact made in Japan, as are all of their competition tires. He also informed me that their Georgia plant is currently doubling in size, but wasn't sure if that size change would impact the manufacturing location of competition tires in the future.

FYI, these are a completely new tire. They are a drag radial only design and are not a variation of an existing model.

I think I need a set for Rusty.

If they perform as well as the Toyo road-race radials do in that environment, they should be winners. The RA-1 road-race tires have proven to be an excellent product for a reasonable price.

They need bigger (taller) 16" rim sizes. Actually ALL the mfg's need to expand their 16" line up.

so we should pay more, even if something is lower quality, just because it's American made? Sorry bud, but with all those awesome taxes I pay (more than one third of my salary) I can't afford the premium American stuff anymore

So you like French tires, just not Japanese.
