The car was not grossly damaged at first glance, but when it was on the ground again, it became apparent that the thing was tweaked. I never saw him or the car again so I think it was never put back right.

Dang. That does suck. So the track prep is sticky but water-phobic? I can't imagine it's like soap.

Water beads up on the stuff when the track is properly sealed. It's honestly like ice.

During a rainout I once took a track vehicle, a nice fairly new 3/4 ton Hemi Ram down the track. People though the thing was bouncing off the REV limiter as it was just boiling the tires. It was hitting the SPEED limiter. It was making like 115mph of wheel speed and I was moving at about 20!

We gave that one back to the dealer at the end of the season, "good as new"
