Funny....I just realized that Chad's item on the AAR Eagle highlights on of the best looking racers of all time and I follow it up with these two abominations....HA!

Yeah, if it gets restored, do they have to put a low-flow toilet on it to make it legal in the U.S.?

Those crazy ISCA show poodles were the main customer for Super Stock Formula One tires.
I always wondered if those dual blowers would actually work.

Does that toilet contain the gas tank?

When I was looking at the barber shop car at GNRS this year; I was wondering what happened to that car. I seem to remember the ISCA days, they were parked next together. The stupidity of these cars hit an all time high with the pool table car.

Well - I don't really think this thing is any stupider looking than the red racecar in the blog item just below it...or any funny car these days for that matter.

                        I say let it live.

                          I agree.

I have said before that like Brian I don't see much reason for these kinds of cars.

That red pro-mod thing is just plain wrong, in my opinion. We talk about not being able to relate to NASCAR's COT -- How can you relate to this thing!

Oh well, each to his own.

I believe the car is a part of car show history and should be restored. Like it or not now, these cars brought people into the shows when they were new. Whether it shows how off the chart customs got in the 70's, or a reminder not to set course in that direction again; I believe they have a place in history.
