    Brian, thanks for the Studebaker plug. The SNM is really a great museum. Of course I may be a bit biased by the marque, but it is a well done museum and as you indicated the archives are a great source of information for Studebaker folks. From copies of factory blueprints to build sheets you can find a lot of great stuff there, much of which can be ordered via mail. From wheelbarrows to wagons to cars and trucks it is all there.

      JRoberts: are there any Packards in the collection and on display?

      I only ask because the father-in-law was a Packard man to the bitter end (of Packard that is, at 90 years old he's still going strong). It's the one car my wife would drive a thousand miles with me to see (and it helps too that its on the way to Chicago, her favourite city in America).

        My parents were through there last srping on their way back from Florida. They really enjoyed it, took a bunch of pics. Some very neat stuff on hand.
