Photos like this inspire to me "try" to take better photos. I'm hoping to be able to get into the photographers area at Byron this year, with high concrete guardwalls it's near impossible to get decent shots from the stands. I did buy a 18-270mm lens over the winter just for this purpose, I can't wait for the track to open.
I really dig these old pics. Drag racing seemed better back then.
