    MAN.... I remember that like yesterday. Lotta local racers like Grady Wade, Harold Leep, Jay Woodside, and Jack Petty still carry scars from that race - some on their souls, and Jack STILL looks bad all these years later. His whole family is still involved in racing, and many racers either remember this fire or know someone who was there. You just say "the Hutch fire", and people turn gray all these years later. Some of these racers ran the national circuit - a few like Harold Leep and Jay Woodside got to run at Indy. It was a tight community, and still is. People remember this race with dread, and it made the national news.
