    Cool stuff, no doubt. The Freight Train was an awesome sight to behold.

    We had a cool twin-engined digger around these parts that was a collaboration between R.C. Williams and Ray Motes. You may have seen it already, but for those who have not, I present the NHRA 1970 and 1971 Top Gas World champion:

    The Motes and Williams car was `70 & `71 NHRA World Champion in Top Gas. In 1970 it won the Springnationals and World Finals. In 1971 it won the Springnation...



    R. C. is now the track manager for SRCA Drag Strip in Great Bend, KS. Yes, THE Great Bend, Kansas... home of the first Big Go!

      I finally got myself sat down to read that last night. Nice! I was lucky enough to see that run once when I was a kid. It really shook the stands. I had no idea about the story behind it.
