The 14th Annual Quick Fuel Technology NMCA Muscle Car Nationals is quickly approaching. It's been a year since the hallowed grounds of Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky have experienced the World's Fastest Street Cars. As a result, Hot Rod City USA is ready to rock on the weekend of May 14-17!
One of the most competitive tracks on the NMCA circuit, Beech Bend Raceway isn't just a track known for producing some of the quickest and fastest times, it's also a favorite of many of the NMCA regulars who favor the pristine surroundings of the tree-lined Barren River and green vistas. However, Bowling Green, KY isn't just about being pretty and serene, in fact it can be far from it, because once the racing begins the atmosphere will hardly be relaxed as racers battle it out not only for pride, but also for class championships. This event marks the halfway point of the NMCA Flowmaster Drag Racing Series season - in other words, if someone is going to make some noise in the title hunt in one of the 11-class championships, this is where that move will begin.
