I can't make it this year. So could someone stop by the GM performance booth and ask when they plan on releasing cam shaft cores for the Atlas series engines (Vortec inline 4200) for me. Or better more people the merrier.
For those of you who missed it - sorry. It was a really good event this year. I didn't think there was quite as much 'new stuff this time around. Edelbrock was one of the companies that had tons of new stuff. Lots o' fuel injection goodies with various inlet elbows and air boxes. Professional Products has a new line of relatively inexpensive complete fuel injection setups though I wasn't able to see the software. Couple new LSx heads of course, from a few different groups. Also a really nice torque arm for late model F-bodies that has an adjustable front mounting point and slip joint for really hooking up.
Some of the best part of the show though is getting together with people you might not otherwise see. Thursday night we had dinner with the gang at from the School of Automotive Machinists. That was lots of fun - ate with Ed Iskenderian, talked with all the old Engine Masters guys like Kaase and Bischoff, Dulcich showed up and hung out. Found out from Matt Held that Holley sold Lunati - didn't know that. Even more interesting to find out who they sold it to...
We were looking forward to seeing DF and Chad but understand you couldn't make it. Maybe next year.
