Surprisingly!!
The Indy Racer Project has been selected for a "By Invitation Only"
To the Mel's Charity Concours Car Show.


I know I have been in Shock since
February getting invited by one of the promoters that seen it at the 2024 Labor Day Car Show in West Bend, Wisconsin.
I thought it was a Prank email,
"You WANT me to bring a Retro Rat Rod to a Concours Quality Car Show?"
His answer "YES, We love the Whole Themed Build Story of Your Car, and How You set up your Display."

So Captain is going to be at Coal Dock Park in Port Washington, Wisconsin on August 17th, 2025
With the Indy Racer Project.

Please Dress Accordingly and Stop by. I will have Coffee and Crumpets!

Well, congrats... I guess.

Left Early Saturday morning just ahead of multiple heavy rains to the Motel for the show.
Arrived just in time to unload and cover the Indy Racer in the motel parking lot. (Another blessing for coming early, they had a Wedding Party staying over at the motel too.
Got a Parking Spot!!)

Sunday the weather turned out Perfect !! Sunny mid 70's which brought out a Great Spectator Crowd.
215 invited cars.

Until my son's family arrived, I barely had time to go look at the other cars in the show with so many people asking questions about the Indy Racer........mostly WHY ?!!!!!!

My, response........"the Group Home doesn't know I'm Missing...... maybe until Bed Check tonight"
