Interested in some long drive Cruises and Shows in the South Carolina area. Been thinking about putting a Run together from Pickens, SC to Franklin, NC. HWY 178 is one awesome hairpin nauseating ride up the Mountain. All kinds of broke down trucks from the 40's 50's and 60's all along the Side of the Mountain that could'nt make it over the top.
Been thinking about Driving up and Photographing some of the Semi Trucks and posting them. (Old Macks and Internationals) This would be a 98 point ride out of 100 on a bike. You can see your Taillights and Tags on most of the turns. 2 hours up and 2 hours back. In fact I would'nt even go all the way to Franklin, I would just do the Mountain.
I am going to drive it this weekend to get Mileage and Times plus some Pic's of the area.
