I used to love going to that race when I lived in Florida. We would go to wiskey pete's around 7:00pm and have wings and beer for dinner, get back to the track around mid-night to watch the night racing. Pass out, then wake back up around sun rise.

That sounds cool, I was at Daytona last in the fall of '99 when I was doing the motorcycle stuff. Got my ass handed to me, lol.
Going to party and watch sounds way cool, especially this time of year. I guess I need to put that on the list of things to do.
I remember that the Florida hooters girls are pretty nice too

Yup, with buddies from BangShift, the HRPT, NERR I'm available for more things to do.

I'll need a job soon, I had no idea how many little trips (an events) there are that I can go on that I had no idea all the events that are out there, that I did not plan for.

Or I'll post my paypal name & you can make donations hahahaha

A "new" HRPT friend of mine was going anyway<via the Car Train>, so I'm just catching a ride down (I get a discounted ticket).

The Rolex 24 four day $ 85.00 ticket includes:
            Infield & grandstand admission (Thursday-Sunday)
Daily garage and Sprint FANZONE access
Daily and overnight infield car parking
Budweiser party porch access on Saturday

I browsing down the different forums to the landspeed heading when I spotted the reference to the Rolex 24. Before I started having severe heart problems in 2,000 I was good friends with Jack Roush, I have framed Nascar crew member lincenses framed from 1990 to 2,000 and went to as many races as my work would allow. I was an honorary crew member, Jack always had directors chairs and radio headsets for myself and my business partner, who was Jack's brother in law. Jack dominated the I think GTclass and won it for ten straight years several times finishing 1,2,3. I was on the pit crew in 1990 and 1991, there was so much work to be done that I actually helped out. We were at the track up without sleep for 36 hours. I have a framed picture of myself and Jack in the victory lane at the 24 along with others at Nascar tracks along with Mark Martin. This was about the time that Jsck got serious about his Nascar effort and I think he fielded cars one more year at the 24.

Now I will go on down to where I belong, Garrell Patterson

I just heard on the radio that Brian Johnson from AC/DC is driving a BMW this year.
                  I really miss that race!

I found a picture of Brain with a kid and he is driving car number 50. So I'll head to that car and hopefully get my picture taken
