    So if you are interested in seeing some of the baddest late model cars battle each other in heads-up racing, check out this event. The Super Car Shootout pits ZL1's against ZR1's, Vipers, Shelby Mustangs against each other, how cool is that.

    Outlaw Drag radial but with GM, FORD and CHRYSLER represented... WOW! Who will show up and take the $3000!

    How about a fun street car shootout filled with late model Big Three cars battling for $1000 and bragging rights!!!

    I hope many of you take the opportunity to join us at the Lingenfelter Performance Nationals.

    We have a lot of great things planned for people to participate in including drag racing, autocross, speed-stop challenge, car show, technical seminars, dyno challenge, and lot's more.

    Just added is a 8 car Pro Mod Shootout on Saturday night. More details to come on this.

      I know a lot of guys who plan to run LS Fest and then run the LPE Performance Nationals race, September will be an awesome month of racing. Please check out the schedule and I encourage you to pre-register!!

      DECATUR, Ind. - Lingenfelter has announced a detailed schedule for the inaugural Lingenfelter Performance Nationals event Sept. 21-23, 2012.

      The Lingenfelter Performance Nationals is a jam-packed weekend that will feature drag racing, autocross, car show, speed stop challenge, dyno challenge and technical seminars at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.

      Gates open daily at 7 a.m. for participants in the three-day event, which is designed to level the playing field between professional and amateur drivers.

      Friday, Sept. 21
      7:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. Registration
      8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Spectator Gates OPEN - All competitor tech
      8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Manufactures Midway
      9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Car Show
      9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Drag Race Test & Tune
      9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Dyno (first come first serve)
      9 a.m. Autocross driver's meeting and track walk
      10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Autocross

        And BOOM. The race is this weekend, my how time flies. It should be interesting to see what cars show up for inaugural event... GM, Ford, Chrysler...

        I'm expecting LPE to bring to some cool cars, hopefully Norm's mid 8 second all-motor Viper shows up.

        For Outlaw Drag Radial I am expecting some of the LS diehards to show up and do battle down the 1320... Ray Litz, Mark Carlyle, Mike Brown and Mark Koehler are all planning to race.

        So check your schedules and do what ya gotta do to sneak out and race this weekend. Air looks great and records will be set!
