OLD TOWN SAN DIEGO GEARS UP FOR 2ND ANNUAL ‘FIESTA DE KUSTOM KULTURE’ HOT ROD, MOTORCYCLE AND LOWBROW ART SHOW SEPTEMBER 8
Fiesta de Kustom Kulture is back to rev up the streets of historic Old Town, Saturday, Sep. 8. San Diego Avenue, Harney Street and Twiggs Street will be lined with hot rods, customs, muscle cars, trucks and motorcycles while the public strolls through this free event from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Attendees can also peruse the original works of world famous lowbrow artists in Artist Alley , shop the kitschy vendors who line the streets and enjoy live entertainment at the Alamo Party Zone, all while enjoying all of the flavorful cuisine and flair Old Town has to offer. A charity art auction and raffle will be among the festivities and will benefit San Diego’s “Just In Time For Foster Youth” and will feature original art donated by Fiesta de Kustom Kulture artists, collectibles from participating vendors and certificates from local restaurants, boutiques and businesses.
The Old Town Chamber of Commerce and MotorCult, event producers of Fiesta de Kustom Kulture, anticipate yet another fun, fabulous event in California’s birthplace. “With the tremendous success we experienced in our first year, we expect this event to continue growing into one of San Diego’s favorite events,” said Kim Ulrich of MotorCult.
