    HOT ROD MAGAZINE CELEBRATES 65 YEARS WITH A ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME HOMECOMING SHOW
    Since 1948, Hot Rod Magazine, founded by the legendary Robert Petersen, has elevated the fastest, coolest, most heart-racing performance vehicles to star status on its cover and in feature stories on inside pages. On Saturday and Sunday, March 23 and 24, 2013 at the Fairplex in Pomona, CA, Hot Rod will celebrate its 65th anniversary by bringing those historic pages to life with the Hot Rod Homecoming. This once-in-a-lifetime gathering of cars featured on the cover and inside the magazine over the years is open to the public and promises to be a car show unlike any other. In addition, there will be acres of space at the show devoted to memorabilia, a performance marketplace, and an outdoor area reserved for enthusiasts who will bring their customized, restored, and modified performance vehicles to share in this spectacular weekend.
    Hundreds of historically significant performance machines including cars, trucks, and even boats and bikes will be on display inside the enormous Building 4 at the Fairplex. These vehicles will bring to life a stunning visual chronicle of the 65 years that Hot Rod has covered the fastest machines of their era along with one-off modifieds, nostalgic customs, and the most beautifully restored cars the world has to offer.
    David Freiburger, the current Editor-in-Chief of Hot Rod said: "The Hot Rod Homecoming is all about bringing those 65 years of feature cars together for one big party. The historic site is the location of the very first NRHA drag race and the home of the NHRA Winternationals.
