Woodward Dream Cruise 2008

Hey....any of you gearheads planning on going to the Woodward Dream Cruise this year?

I am normally not part of the lawn chair set, but I will attend. Generally I stay away from car shows, but this is event is a must.

I don;t have to go. It comes to me.

It's pretty cool waking up in the morning and hearing the cars rumbling out on Woodward.

The week before is better then the day of, if you want to drive you're car.

I have no choice, I live a couple of blocks from 13 & Woodward. My wife and I own a business on 12 Mile in Berkley, I am always in the Berkley Cruisfest Parade the evening before the dream Cruise.

I will be going for the first time with a car this year, but I will probably only be on Woodward during the week, when its not a parking lot. I will probably spend some time at the Back to the Bricks http://www.backtothebricks.org/ event in Flint that weekend also.

I normally attend every night after work and the whole previous weekend, much better for cruzn. BUT, I am once again heading to B'ville for Speed Week. I've got the Salt bug bad. ;D

Went in 98 and parked in some fair grounds I think . Remimber walking for about 4-5 miles and then after the day was about over it dawned on us..........we still had to walk back!
