The High Roller Mile Shootout 9/27/08 Nellis AFB
The High Roller Mile Shootout is a motorsports competition based on achieving the highest possible trap speed in one mile from a semi-standing start without exceeding the speed limit for their class. Entry is open to 2-wheeled motorcycles and 4-wheeled vehicles that meet the specifications in the rule book. Basically, this resembles an extra-long drag race, except that we only care about the top speed, not elapsed time.
the folks at MKM Racing are putting on a mile shootout at Nellis Air Force Base http://www.openroadracing.com/html/shootout.html is the link to the information. Can you post this to the various sites for me also. The date is September 27th and entries must be in by the 17th for security reasons on the base.
