As I understand, Chile has offered to host the Paris to Dakar Rally next year - as they have some serious deserts, too.

my brother is a gun smith here in buffalo
they have these french ww2 rifles like new but no one has ammo for them he showed me on it is cheap $145 and he says it comes with a bottle of wine and a brick of cheese never been shot only droped once lol sucks bout the rally though oh well thanks to those who are working so it can happen again someday

This sounds like a joke about the French version of the Browning BAR that the American soldiers were handed during our few months of WWI. Most guys just tossed them on the ground because they had better chance of killing a German that way than trying to shoot it.

This really sucked,I look forward to this every year,even though the coverage here in the us has suffered since speed dropped it, Sam Posey's narration was an awesome accompaniment to the world's most incredible motor event!, still I love watching the bikes haulin ass in the desert, those guys are amazing, going that fast in those conditions, on a bike that top heavy is nearly a super human feat, hope it returns next year.
