I saw this on the NHRA website.
The NHRA announced a new racing class. They will use a new light timing at 1 second instead of 5 tenths. The track is shortened like pro cars to 1000 feet. The entrance fee is paid by other participants, so it?s free to those whose cars qualify. If you lose, you will still receive a payout.
To qualify, you need to drive any car or truck produced by a government run auto manufacturer that uses any technology considered hybrid or green.
