squireely brake line bends under the hood. where is the front air dam..the famous trait of trans am that spread around the world from subarus to fullsize GMC..

      hemmings has a great article:
      http://www.hemmings.com/mus/stories/...rs_guide1.html

camaro stuck with the 302 to resemble the rules, amc went to a 390 instead of the 304.

14 inch wheels, 3.9 rear and a 1 to 1 final. Yeah right. Top speed 70 at 6000 rpm.

It's the most expensive AMC I've ever seen.

I was pretty sure that painted scheme was an option.

It was not a production option, there were only 100 built..

              Documentation please....
If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark Donohue

Why go to all that work and then have your brake lines look that bad?

I'm really surprised it's not "heater delete"?

I saw that car this summer at the Kenosha AMC homecoming, nice car and yes very rare and I believe he has the history of the car, and documentation.
Owner was saying that it was a 6-figure car, and I politely disagreed. He has been trying to sell it for a few months now both on Craigslist and EBay.

These cars can be easily cloned, so documentation is Key on one of these.
There is a nice web site on the cars here...http://www.tajavelin.com/

Its worth what someone is ready, able, and willing to pay. You must have all three. Its nice, but I am in a totally different league

Sounds like it rarer than a 69 Trans Am and they go for big bucks.

Rather drive a clone.. Be same thing and nobody would notice or give a damn but a few who I do not care for.

Brake line might be to authenicize it's worth?
                              Nice car nontheless!
