Re: Shake down cruise goes bad.......

Dont know now....everything on the left side is destroyed. I cant tell what went first. I can tell you I did not hear something break. The steering wheel suddenly felt loose, the car dropped a bit and shot left........

If no one was hurt, that's what really matters. The car can be fixed. If the car had wound up hitting a mom pushing a stroller, your next couple of years would be pretty rough. Thank God all you need is a new suspension.

      Still sucks...

Wow, that's bad. Sorry to hear that.
Now I'm worried, I just loosly fitted all new steering parts to my Javelin, and it's ready for final assembly :-\

Big bummer. Things like these are always let downs. I'd be relieved that the car doesn't need to go back to the body shop. Hopefully, nothing was broken needed to be welded. If all that needs fixing is bolt on stuff, consider yourself lucky.

I had a car do that when I broke a front spring.... no noise, just sudden right turn - fortunately was going slow and didn't hit anything.
