        Re: Spidey

YEah, when you have a Family, it is hard to have a Nova
that's why you get a Chevelle, more room ;D
My dad kept his Chevelle until I was about 3
Rumors of my demise by rollover have been greatly exaggerated.

"Starting a family." THAT sounds TERRORFIYING :o ;D. I could NEVER start a family..it would eat into my 'Hobby(ies..)-Money.' ~J/W-OO6.

A Chevelle's back seat isn't much bigger than a Nova's(unless you're comparing the '62-67 Nova with the '66 you have)....I've been in both(dad had a Chevelle, Mom had a Nova.....sorry, can't claim any FUN stuff).

Low-mid 10's sounds pretty good, Spidey........one question though.

Was this strictly a race-only car, or did it see street time as well?

The presence of tailpipes triggered that question.

Yep,those NMCA years were something else,LOTS of guy's around me were 'REALLY' into the whole 'Fastest-Street-Car' thing. I know of at least FOUR(4)guy's who went & re-financed their Homes just to get into the 'game'(which it WAS. A GAME >!...). I personally loved the 'Super-Street' class:--NO Wheelie-Bars. NO Wheel-Tubs. 9 & 10-Inch Tyres. MONDO Wheelies :o ;D!! It was a pretty wild time at the time,THEN...the "Money-Guy'z" got in on it. Duze'd in Dashboards/Transmission Tunnels,no Cowl Panels,Grill Plugs, ect. It went from 'Run Whatcha-Brung' to 'Build-It-To-WIN' praticaly overnight. Oh,well. ~J/W-OO6.
