I am late also but hope you had a great day. I will be 52 this July and I feel like 72. I have been a tech all my life and now I have authrithus real bad and Fibromylagia. So I have to take pain meds to get thru every day. Its fun getting old ! Ron
Happy Birthday. I'll be 54 on Wednesday. The bodys a little slower but the mind is still 18. Once I get in the Camaro or i'm around cars even the body speeds up. Like they say Age is just a state on mind. ;D
I'll be 61 in June. The only constant in my life, from the age of 13 on, has been internal combustion engines. Cars, trucks and motorcycles. I have 5 or 6 vehicles at any given time. My vehicles give me pleasure and if they do disappoint me [break down, blow up] it's never with malice. Whether it's a hobby, addiction, affliction or pastime, it's what gets me through the night. So relax, you've got lots of car stuff to do yet, and lots of time to do it.
you gotta go see the "bucket List" playing at the movies now, with Jack nickolson, and this other star, I cant remember his name, they learn they are kicking the bucket and have 6 months to live, and one of them is rich, and they make a list of things to do before they die.....and do them...
one line in the story was pretty cute, I cannot remember the first line, but thier are three things Jack said you have to remember when you grow old, I forgot the first, because I am old, so 2. never waste a hard on....
3. and never trust a fart..... in the movie he crapped his pants....I cant remember number 1. but at our age and most of the audiences age the room filled with laughter because its the truth.....you will have to go see the movie to see what number one was....it was funny and sad movie, theirs a great scene where they race a shelby mustang and a Mopar against each other......
I'll be 60 in March. A few more aches and pains, a few more meds than I'd like to be taking. I'm just keepin' on keepin' on. That's what we all seem to be doin' here and that's great. Its a good life when you stop to think about it. ;D
