Here is our father/son/son/daughter project. Do 50 year old suspension parts count as mods? Vintage date coded stuff there!

            Well, there's the Corvette

It has a composite rear spring, larger rear sway, VBP swing arms, bilstein shocks, johnny joint front bushing, poly everything else, front has aftermarket upper arms, boxed lower, lowering springs, larger front sway bar as well. Wilwood brakes all around. Steering is stock, however, I may change that to rack and pinion.

next is an FJ40 that's really not an FJ40 anymore. It's the next project to be done

stretched wheelbase to 95", 4 link rear, 3 link front King coilovers front, Jeep springs in the rear and probably king shocks

            then there's the Fiat

you only asked about suspension so we'll ignore the motor/trans. It's got an aftermarket mustang 2 front suspension front, and has a 7.5 ford rear (though it will be an 8.8 when I find the right one)

            and finally the Buick

it has a panther platform front suspension and 9" 4 link rear. I've already bought the airbags from some fly-by-night-ebay company (air ride) for it. I'm waiting on time, but also on a machine shop that's had the motor for 2 years - which isn't really their fault because I told them they had time.

                Street-legal Sandrail

Rear - boxed rear trailing arms, notched spring plates, clearanced Type IV cv's, long torsion springs set to "firm", drivetrain located solidly in all planes.

Front - lightweight aluminum front beam, braced king pin knuckles, suspension limiters removed, oil shocks modified with lots of rebound dampening and very little extension dampening.

Of all the paths you take in life - make sure a few of them are dirt.

factory has this at 142 inch wheel base, for an odd reason this one is over 12 feet.
v8 manual tranny, cab mount rocker bender.

I am liking some of the ride tech stuff i found, but a bit pricy.
