I cannot relate to 40 years of marriage.
I did have to watch my mom go away after being unplugged.
She was frowning, where the pain left off.. only went to silence of peace.
These threads.
To go that long, carry on .. there is no way she could leave entirely.Previously boxer3main

GFogg I can feel your pain and only hope that you have family to rally around. I've been walking this path that you are beginning for 5 years now, it will not be an easy one. I still miss and love my wife as much today as I ever did. Like you...... I was blessed to have had 30 yrs together. I can only suggest you stay active and find that thing that will give you purpose, for me it was finding great new friends(more like family) here from Power Tour.
