I'm heading up to the midwest next week, hope to catch some of the RMRW action before participating in the Meltdown Drags (at Byron). Anyone else headed up there? I hear the Car Craft nationals is going on the same time....

Next weekend is the Car Craft nats in Milwaukee, WI and the newly re-named Street Machine Nationals (formerly CC nats) at the Minnesota state fairgrounds in St. Paul. We'll be in MN Friday and Saturday.GM G-bodies, because I can't afford a 69 Camaro.Comment

RMRW is almost over, they race in Denver tomorrow. Meltdown said they had 550 pre registered, but I know a bunch are not going to make it...I'm already here, car is at the strip, I'm at the hotel. Ready for some dry weather tomorrow, and go make some noise!

I'm about 30 minutes north east of the track. I was planning on making it there this afternoon but ran into some unexpected trouble as couldn't make it. Hoping to get there tomorrow.Comment

the Meltdown guys gave me an award Friday night....really neat!
I raced this red AWB Chevy II....he was just a tad quicker than me, ran high 9s.
I also raced this Stude, he is a bit slower than me, high tens.
Behind the starting line. you back into the water box. This area is a major east-west thoroughfare, so you have to drive carefully! Neat old track, they used to run it 4 wide.

another drag week car! Brian is from up in Wisconsin, he ran a 10.009 last night.
after I ran last night, the car was hot, I found a water leak at the intake. Might see if I can fix it this morning.
