Had a great time watching the no prep races.
Larry Larsen was there racing the S10, what a super nice and approachable guy!!

That's cool he made it. I went a couple years ago and was surprised how big a gathering it is with more and more old school stuff.
      Couldn't make it this year.

So cool Larry ran the S-10. If there's a lane open his stuff gets run.....hard. Plus looking at the videos it hooked.....hard. No prep, no prob. OKC the end of the bragging gets closer.

1320 Video has a nice feature on this car at another night race. He got past Larry, no problem. Another guy who can shut up Big Chief and Co. Gotta be a dozen or more now. I can't believe the S-10 was set on "kill" for that event anyway

If Larry's time was slower than 6.50, I am betting it was conservative.

there were no times displayed, but I was guessing he had it reeled in some. My son has been down that track on his bike, I havent ever been down it myself, but (totally NOT bashing on the track with this comment) I am guessing since PJ/I29 dragway/midamerica motorplex- whatever it is called now- is only an 1/8th mile track, he had the truck turned down.

the total cool factor of it is, like a buddy of mine posted on his fb page " holy crap dude, i am pitted next to the fastest street car in the world!!!!" true that man, other than his t shirt sales table, Mr Larsen was just another guy slugging it out for a $1700 check. neat stuff
