What was up with the heat? the exhaust interacting with the intake?

9.4 is pretty good, 10.5'd be sweet.. Probably need premium fuel if you run the 10.5?
I'm sure with your cam, timing setting and all that little IMPORTANT stuff, you will be fine running low grade with the higher compression.
And most of all, what car/truck it goes into..

And you'll have to leave the hood open often, so folks can see it. Which means, you're going to have to drive it around a lot!
