Last night Gail made me take her to this total dive bar towards downtown to see the first U.S. appearance of her current favorite band, Steve 'N Seagulls (from Finland) and the sister and bro-in-law came also. You may have seen their AC/DC Thunderstruck video, here's one from a live show, basically same as what we saw:
Besides cracking us up with really well done heavy-metal covers, they do a little folk music in the vein of Flogging Molly. For ten bucks, opening act included, it rocked and was lots of fun. L.A. tonight! See 'em if they come your way.
